Trafficking Firearm: Fine

The client was charged with section 99(1) trafficking a firearm, which has a 3 year minimum sentence. Tonii Roulston filed a Charter Notice with the Court challenging the legislation and late disclosure alleging a breach of the client’s Charter rights. The charges were reduced to transferring a firearm without authority. The client received a $1500 fine and no incarceration/jail.
