R v J.L. [Court of Queen’s Bench: Calgary]

Drug Trafficking: Charges Withdrawn

The client was charged with four counts of trafficking drugs after a police investigation resulted in wiretap evidence incriminating the client. A search of the client’s residence resulted in the finding of cocaine, psilocybin, Percocet and fentanyl in the client’s possession. The Crown Prosecutor withdrew the charges, after Tonii Roulston cross examined the police witness during the Preliminary Inquiry.
