R v K.P. [Calgary Provincial Court]

Production of Marijuana: Charges Withdrawn

The client was charged with growing marijuana in his home, contrary to section 7(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Tonii Roulston set the matter for trial and filed an application arguing that the investigating police officers unlawfully searched the client’s property. Before the start of the trial, the Crown withdrew the charge. The client has no conviction and no criminal record.
