R v S.F. [Calgary Provincial Court]

Upon searching the client’s home, Calgary Police Services allegedly seized approximately 140 grams of controlled substances including GHB, as well as approximately $90,000. He was charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, simple possession, possession of proceeds of a crime, and laundering money. The matter was scheduled for trial and a brief of law was filed alleging a breach of the client’s constitutional rights. The client pled guilty to simple possession and all other charges were withdrawn.
