3 Calgary killers get lengthy prison sentences for fatal assault
Saad Osman and brothers Julius and Theo Wheyee were charged with 2nd-degree murder
Three men who fatally beat their victim over a drug debt received lengthy prison sentences for their roles in what the judge described as a "vicious crime."
"The following sentences cannot hope to make up for this damage and loss," said Court of Queen's Bench Justice Karen Horner in handing down prison terms to Saad Osman and brothers Julius and Theo Wheyee.
The trio was convicted of manslaughter in the September 2015 death of Mohammad Saqib, whose body was found in the trunk of a car that had been set on fire on a rural road near Airdrie.
