Case against J.H. dropped for undue court delays

J.H. was blinded by police bullet after allegedly striking with vehicle while fleeing police

Charges against a man who was blinded by a police bullet fired when he was allegedly running down an elderly couple have been stayed because of undue delay.

Defence lawyer Andrea Urquhart said Thursday she received notice from Crown prosecutor Darren Maloney the case would no be proceeding to trial this month.
