D.D. and K.P.A. admitting to killing a man

D.D., represented by Tonii Roulston, and co-accused K.P.A. were sentenced after admitting to killing a man over a drug debt, and setting two fires that nearly destroyed an apartment and house based on a personal vengeance stemming from their eviction. The charges for the murder were reduced from second-degree homicide to manslaughter after a plea agreement and joint submissions by Crown and defence counsel, Roulston. D.D. received five years for arson and five for manslaughter.
