P.R. was ordered to a three year jail sentence

P.R. was ordered to a three year jail sentence for charges stemming out of child pornography. Justice Ouellette imposed only a two year sentence on P.R.’s latest child pornography charge which meant that P.R. would avoid a long-term offender label despite the Crown counsel’s request. During examination conducted by defence counsel Tonii Roulston, P.R. admitted to attempted self-castration because he thought it might lessen his pedophilloic urges, and said that he now realized that therapy is required.
