R.A.L. pled guilty to sexual assault

R.A.L. pled guilty to several charges stemming from a sexual assault on a female security guard at a construction sight. The security guard had called 911 in response to shouting and banging, and R.A.L. took the phone and told 911 dispatch that he wanted a taxi and gave dispatch his name. By the time police arrived, R.A.L. had sexually assaulted the guard several times and was caught in the process of forcing her to perform sexual acts. He had also threatened her during the assault which involved choking as well. R.A.L. pled guilty to four of the charges against him through defence counsel Tonii Roulston. Roulston sought a pre-sentence report and a psychiatric report for the sentencing submissions.
