Leanndria Halcro was called to the bar in June 2021.
She graduated law school from the University of Victoria and completed a semester abroad at the University of Hong Kong. In law school, Ms. Halcro participated in the Law Centre program at the University of Victoria and spent a summer as a Student Case Worker with Student Legal Assistance. In both of these positions, she provided legal services to lower income individuals.
Ms. Halcro volunteers for Calgary Legal Guidance as she is passionate about access to justice.
Ms. Halcro is currently working as an associate at Roulston Urquhart Criminal Defence and is mentored by Tonii Roulston. Ms. Halcro’s experience as a criminal defence lawyer includes trial litigation in the areas of drug trafficking, sexual assault, domestic violence, and impaired driving.
