Ryan Millar was called to the bar in July of 2024. He articled at Student Legal Assistance (SLA), a pro-bono legal clinic providing legal representation to low-income Calgarians. During his third year of Law School, he was selected to clerk at the Alberta Court of Justice, where he shadowed Justices in Criminal, Civil, and Family law. His experience includes representing clients charged with drug trafficking, offences of violence, fraud, and attempted murder.

Outside of the courtroom, Ryan is a Reserve Officer with the Royal Canadian Navy, ultra-marathon runner, and sits on the Board of Directors of Pivot Society, a non-profit dedicated to supporting individuals who are impacted by addictions, gang involvement, and incarceration.
