Our client was charged with a historic sexual assault that occurred when he was a youth. Tonii Roulston applied for a s.276 and s.278 application to introduce into evidence prior sexual history between the complainant and the client as well as a photograph of the complainant with the client after the alleged offence. Through this application, Tonii highlighted inconsistencies in the complainant’s statement, resulting in a peace bond for the client. As a result, the client avoided a criminal record and a conviction.
