Kirsten Lancee defended RL against allegations of home-invasion robbery, aggravated assault, forcible
confinement and uttering threats. At the conclusion of the Crown’s case in the Court of King’s Bench
trial, Kirsten argued that the Court should dismiss the charges against RL as there was no evidence of
identification. The Court of King’s Bench justice agreed and directed that RL be acquitted at trial.
