Kirsten Lancee defended TM against allegations of domestic violence. Kirsten advised TM to engage in
counselling targeted towards alcohol use as part of resolution discussions. Kirsten then engaged in
negotiations with the Crown, arguing that TM’s domestic partner was the instigator of the violence. The
Crown agreed that there were triable issues and Kirsten secured an offer of a common-law peace bond for
her client. TM has no criminal record as a result.
