Kirsten Lancee defended CM against two complainants who claimed that CM had sexually assaulted
them on separate occasions. Kirsten wrote a s. 276 application, wherein she argued that the evidence of
prior sexual history was relevant in part because the first complainant had influenced the second
complainant’s statement to police. After a contested s. 276 hearing, the Court admitted the evidence.
Following further investigation, the Crown withdrew the allegations against CM.
