Kirsten Lancee defended HBOM in an alleged group/gang sexual assault against a complainant. In
advance of trial, Kirsten negotiated with the Crown and highlighted the complainant’s lack of independent
recollection as a serious triable issue. The Crown ultimately withdrew the allegation against HBOM on
the morning of trial. HBOM has no criminal record as a result.
